THE ROAD TO RECOVERY
A HUMAN JOURNEY
And here was a man I didn't know.
A man who made an enormous effort to take me in his car,
to ease my fears and give rise to hope.
Father of the late Araf Kamil, age 20, from Jenin
The Road to Recovery
We are an Israeli Association of volunteers who drive Palestinian patients - primarily children - from checkpoints in the West Bank and Gaza for life-saving treatments in Israeli hospitals. The Association also helps with the purchase of medical equipment in special cases and organizes vacations and special 'Fun-Day' outings for patients and their families.
The heart of our Association is our 1,200 volunteers who are reaching out every day to those in need, providing an opportunity for healing through one simple gesture – Driving!

& Contributors
The Association's activity is made possible thanks to a three-way partnership, each part having its own existential significance.
A deep partnership between the thousands of Israeli volunteers who act devotedly day-in, day-out together with their fellow Palestinian volunteers and donors from Israel and abroad, who all rally together and give their time, their rich experience in building civil solidarity, and their monetary support for the continued activity of the Association.
